Professions

How many professions appear in Guild Wars 2? Guild Wars 2 will have eight professions very distinct playing styles and with different abilities. They are: Elementalist, Engineer, Guardian, Mesmer, Necromancer, Ranger, Warrior and Thief.

Professions have racial restrictions? All professions are available to all races. All races are equally capable of performing all professions. The difference of race is in its race specific skills and also greatly affects your story, but you can play with any profession you want. There is no punishment to play a certain profession with a particular race. Each race gets the same status, regardless of profession. Thus, a warrior Asura will be as strong as a warrior Norn.

There will be secondary professions? Secondary professions were initially included, however, because of the unique mechanics of each profession and the growing role of race in character customization, they are no longer a feature of the game.

There will be dedicated to healing professions (healing)? No. ArenaNet took the initiative to exclude a profession dedicated to healing in this game. In Guild Wars 2, you are responsible for your healing. Each race and profession can heal and revive fallen comrades, thus making a profession dedicated to healing completely useless. However, there will be a profession of support (support class) in this game to suit those who love to play this kind of class.

PvE

There will be heroes / henchmen? There, no heroes / henchmen, unlike the original Guild Wars.

What is the max level in this game? The maximum level is 80, but unlike some games the leveling curve in Guild Wars 2 has its peak early in the game, which means rising level 40 to 41 requires the same amount of time required to rise from 79 to 80. His personal history alone will probably be enough to take him to the maximum level.

You will be able to collect titles in Guild Wars 2? Yes you masochists who enjoy torturing themselves seeking titles for months to be able to brag and show off to friends will be delighted to know that the titles / achievements (achievements) will return in Guild Wars 2.

There will be a dye system? Yes, there will. There are already several videos on the internet showing the color system in Guild Wars 2. Note that the color system is much deeper than the system used in the first game.

There will be an auction system (Auction House) in the game? Yes, it was confirmed an auction system in Guild Wars 2. The following excerpt was taken from an interview with a developer Arena Net:
"Guild Wars 2 includes a full Marketplace for players that will be different from the usual auction MMOs in several ways.'s Largest and most important difference is that the Marketplace in GW2 receives postings from both buyers and sellers. You can put your sword for sale and then offer 100 gold coins to ax specific you are looking for without having to find a specific vendor. market displays the historical trends and average value of an item, which makes it easy to determine a fair value for their products. might be worth waiting to sell your item, depending on whether the price is rising or falling. The Items you put up for sale may be sold when you are offline, and the funds will be deposited into your bank account. You should be in the game to put a new item for sale, but you can see the market, offering your bank account, or cancel your own auctions and offers while connected to a web browser without running the game. "

PvP

What type of PvP will exist in Guild Wars 2? Two main modes of PvP were announced. "World vs World will involve major battles between groups of players of different levels. The other, called "Structured PvP", has two main types: tournament, similar to Guild Battles Guild Wars 1, which pits two teams theoretically balanced against one another, and Pick-up Play, where individual players or groups can choose to join games based on available space, map and other settings. Some activities, like snowball fights, will also be present.

What about pk (player-killing)? Players can only attack and kill each other in areas designated for PvP.
